Hello Castleberry Circle Neighbors,

The Castleberry Circle Emergency Response Team is looking for new members, and we would love for you to consider joining us.

Our emergency response process is very simple and straightforward: Sumter County 911 notifies our team via the PulsePoint app at the same time an ambulance is dispatched. Because we are local, we generally arrive minutes before professional help. Our role is to enter the home and check the patient’s breathing. If the patient is breathing, we provide support until the ambulance arrives. If they are not breathing, we perform “chest-compressions-only” CPR. These immediate actions are vital and often life-saving.

We are always seeking new volunteers as neighbors move away, or retire from the team after years of dedicated service.

Whether you are a new resident or a long-time neighbor, we invite you to join our mission of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors.”

Please contact me if you are interested in joining, or rejoining, the Castleberry Response Team.

Respectfully submitted,

Tom Weyer
